Moshe Feiglin's address at the dinner also reflected this feeling. In his speech he reiterated that the Likud has actually lost the elections and predicted that new elections will be held in Israel within the year.
"Technically, we also lost the elections," Moshe added. "We did not manage to get our people into the Knesset. But we know that we have actually won. Thanks to the hard work of our friends and supporters, the Jewish leadership message has become part of the public discourse. Today, the Israeli public knows that Manhigut Yehudit is the only factor that is providing the answers it so desperately seeks. The elite establishment is scared to death. It knows that in the end we will win and save this country."
"This is a war of worlds," Moshe continued. On one side is the Israeli establishment that has lost its desire to exist - perhaps because Zionism has worn out and possibly even melted away. It is now time for the next stage of our national renaissance. It is time to fill the foundations laid by traditional Zionism with Jewish content, Jewish essence and Jewish values."
Shmuel Sackett and Dovid Shirel would like to take this opportunity to thank our tireless dinner committee, Romy and Popsy Leibler and Rabbi Jay and Ruby Ray Karzen and all the volunteers and guests who made this dinner the inspiring and successful event that it was. Looking forward to seeing you next year!
