Less than a month before Israelis go to the polls, warnings of war appear - but Israel's Left still supports creating a Palestinian state.
The security situation became a more central issue in Israeli politics this week due to a number of new terrorist attacks and attempted attacks. A car ramming attack took place near Elazar.
One Israeli youngster was severely wounded, his sister, moderately so. The IDF thwarted an infiltration attempt from Gaza killing five armed Palestinian terrorists. Several rockets were fired from Gaza.
Arson that began in Lebanon while the wind was blowing toward Israel spread fires close to Israel’s Northern border.
PA IED hit three Jewish Israelis - the blast killed 17-year old Rina Shnerb and injured her father and brother at the Danny Spring on Friday outside Dolev.... (The list is too long!)
Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu reacted by saying that Israel will embark if needed on a wide scale campaign in the Gaza Strip irrespective of the upcoming elections... (It is needed NOW! When will it be enough to remove the source of terror, the enemy population, from Jewish land? How many Jews must die to say “Never again” and mean it?)
The PA President Mahmoud Abbas claimed that the Palestinians "will enter Jerusalem - millions of fighters." "No matter how many houses and how many settlements they declare that they (plan to build) here and there – they shall all be destroyed, Allah willing. They will all go to the garbage bin of history." To back up his statements, Abbas went on to claim that the Palestinians are descended from the people of ancient Canaan, saying "This land belongs to the people who live on it. It belongs to the Canaanites, who lived here 5,000 years ago. We are the Canaanites!” (Delusional leaders are dangerous! When will Israel start fighting this war? So-called Palestinians are a scum of the Ottoman Empire, dumped to Palestine to prevent creation of the Jewish state, whom none of the Muslim countries wants back!)

When Jews had nothing to lose - during the Inquisition, Russian pogroms, the Holocaust or expulsion from Muslim states – many of them tried to escape, left and built a new life elsewhere. Through the history, many countries benefited from arrival of Jews! Over 70 years ago we returned to our ancestral land and build a beautiful, technologically advanced state, and all of the world benefits from its existence now! In spite of that, anti-Israel international anti-Semites have created the parasitic society, using the UN, and gave them the fictitious name “Palestinians” – professional refugees, in the 4th generation already, who left the land of Israel to facilitate another genocide of Jews by advancing Muslim armies during the War of Independence!
The US State Department appears to have removed the Palestinian Authority – and “Palestine” – from the list of “Countries & Areas” in the Middle East. Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas has repeatedly insulted and scorned US President Donald Trump in his public addresses, both in English and in Arabic. Abbas and his ruling Fatah faction also last month vowed to disregard the Oslo Accords designations that separate three geographical areas in Judea and Samaria - Areas A, B and C...
Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas has overturned his Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh’s order to slow down the PA’s security cooperation with Israel. Shtayyeh has been trying since his appointment as Palestinian prime minister five months ago to assert his position as future successor to the octogenarian leader Abbas.
On Wednesday night terrorists again fired a rocket from the Gaza Strip into Israel. In response, the Israeli Air Force (IAF) struck several military targets in a Hamas naval facility. A few hours later, terrorists launched a second rocket. This was the 6th rocket fired from Gaza at Israel in the last six days. The IAF again bombed Hamas targets in the northern Strip. (Noterrorists are killed - No intention to end this idiotic situation!)
Egypt arrests son of prominent Palestinian politician, Nabil Shaath, a BDS activist, for aiding ‘terror group’. Ramy Shaath detained for his criticism of Cairo’s ties with Israel.
Israel has struck Iranian targets in Iraq at least three times over the past few weeks after Russia and the United States gave the green light. Moscow and Washington have agreed that Israel’s strikes in Iraq and Syria are “vital to ensure Israeli security” and that Israel should be allowed to continue tracking Iranian activity in Syria and Iraq, and strike Iranian targets that could pose a threat to Israel.
The Palestinian Authority (PA) have accepted a partial payment of just over half a billion dollars from Israel. "An agreement was reached a few days ago with the Israeli side for transferring duties on oil and fuel which the Palestinian Authority bought in Israel to the amount of around two billionshekels ($568 million, 512 million Euros)." In February, Israel decided to offset the PA’s payments to terrorists withhold around $10 million per month from revenues of some $190 million per month it collects on the PA's behalf. (Political leadership of both sides has no self-respect or integrity!)
New Zealand joined Switzerland, the Netherlands, and Belgium in suspending aid to UNRWA over the findings of the internal report, that cites “credible and corroborated” allegations of serious ethical abuses including “sexual misconduct, nepotism, retaliation, discrimination and other abuses of authority, for personal gain, to suppress legitimate dissent, and to otherwise achieve their personal objectives.” (If even NZ has done this, it must be true! For over 70 years international anti-Semites turned a blind eye on all corruption and illegality of UNRWA existence! They have no problem with the UNRWA facilitating the killing of Jews – only with the fact that abuse and money being stolen, by those who are running UNRWA, became a public knowledge.)
In 2018, some 35,000 Arabs emigrated from the Gaza Strip. The Hamas government charges an estimated $5,000 fee for each departing person. The majority of Gaza Strip residents do not have a history there, since they settled there in 1948-9 having fled the war in Israel to facilitate genocide against Jews by advancing Arab/Muslim armies during the Independence war. Former justice minister Ayelet Shaked agreed with the anonymous Israeli state official who told reporters Israel had been working to encourage the voluntary emigration of Gaza residents.
Hezbollah terrorists have adopted arson techniques that Palestinians in Gaza have used repeatedly to attack Israel. Hezbollah operatives can be seen are seen in a footage setting fires near the border. Strong winds quickly fanned the flames and caused the fire to cross the boundary. UN peacekeepers, who were patrolling near the fires, made no attempt to stop the Hezbollah men from lighting them.('Useless Nothing' even by inaction is always deeply anti-Israel/Jewish!)
The PA police have banned a Palestinian LGBT rights group from organizing any activities in the Judea and Samaria and threatened to arrest them, saying such activities “go against and infringe upon the higher principles and values of Palestinian society.”
Jordan Parliament recommended the country expel Israel's ambassador, recall the Jordanian ambassador to Israel, and re-examine the peace agreement between the two countries. Jordan condemned the Israeli activity at Al-Aqsa Mosque and on the Temple Mount. In fact, the "violations", Jordan complained of, were Israeli police defending themselves from terrorists who attacked them. (It will create an opportunity for Israel to reclaim all Jewish land allocated by the League of Nations for the Eretz-Israel!)
Quote of the Week:
“Some of us imagined that a misunderstanding had occurred, that because the Arabs did not understand our intentions, they opposed us, but, if we were to make clear to them how modest and limited our aspirations are, they would then stretch out their arms in peace. This too is a fallacy that has been proved so time and again... But an agreement with Arabs outside the Land of Israel is also a delusion... Thus, we conclude that we cannot promise anything to the Arabs of the Land of Israel or the Arab countries. Their voluntary agreement is out of the question...” - Vladimir Jabotinsky, "The Iron Wall" – He came to this conclusion in spite of his deep desire to live in peace with Arabs! When will Israel have the government that will realize it too and be willing to rectify the problem?

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), in response to Congresswomen Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar’s call to reconsider US aid to Israel, reconsidered and has come to the conclusion that “it’s time to provide MORE assistance to Israel for their missile defense program.”
Until recently, Israel received $3 billion annually in US assistance through Foreign Military Financing (FMF), with the condition that 74% of these funds had to be spent on the acquisition of US defense equipment.
Should Congress and the administration decide to suspend the aid to Israel (which is inconceivable today, but quite likely with Senators Sanders or Warren in the White House), the move would introduce lost jobs and income to the tune of close to $40 billion over 10 years.
In the 1980s, Israel developed the IAI Lavi, a single-engine, fourth-generation multirole jet fighter that competed successfully with American jets on the export market. The Lavi performed successfully in flight-tests, with its flight handling described as “excellent” by test pilots.
In short, the Lavi project meant future losses in the hundreds of billions of dollars to US companies, which is why the Reagan administration saw fit to twist Israel’s arm to shut down the project in return for about $600 million a year. Israel is holding on to two prototypes, should anyone be interested in messing with this payoff…
There are numerous additional in cases in which Israel’s vast military industry and other technological enterprises have had to succumb to US pressure and abstain from selling sensitive technology to China and other countries. Should it become unshackled from US restraints on sales, Israel would easily take in double the $3.8 billion a year it is receiving.
But the US-Israel relationship means a whole lot more than money.
Israel has grown to become the US’ most reliable ally that functions just short of being the 51st state. The benefits - logistical, military, and monetary - the US derives from its friendship with Israel by far outweigh the cost, which comes to roughly 0.095% of the US annual budget of $4 trillion. (Anti-Semites have never questioned the US aid to Egypt and other Islamic countries! In exchange for this the US received 9/11 and other terrorism related ‘benefits’ from them!)
