My Dear Jewish Brothers and Sisters:

Gut moed, moadim l'simcha.  I address this to all of you during this holiday of Sukkot, the holiday of joy. Yes, I wish happiness and joy even to those of you I don't like much, which I must admit is a sizeable portion but as they say, you can't choose your family and I'm sure the feeling is mutual with many of you. Anyway, onward.

I recall a late colleague of mine from Israel who during the bad old days of Oslo, told me that he never thought he'd see a generation of mass-produced dumb Jews who allowed, via a bribe of cash and a Volvo for the deciding vote, the Knesset to  allow the establishment of a terrorist infrastructure carved out of Israel. This was of course brought to Israel via the unholy trinity of Peres, Avineri and Beilin who managed to convince a never-too-bright Yitzchak Rabin and a good part of Israel that Oslo was a good thing. You have to admit, my late colleague had a point.  I can't help thinking what he would say today regarding Covid and the Jews.  Let's recap for a moment, shall we? 

We have a virus engineered by China at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (I link to the website for the liberals who claim it doesn't exist), that was either released accidentally or purposefully, which then proceeded to kill several million of their own people (based on cell phone counts in their crematoriums), and yet they never allowed world virology experts into the country to study the "wet market" where the CCP claimed it originated and they never shut down their airports to restrict travel out of China. The CCP spreads it all over the world while selling the world the lockdown strategy to destroy their economies based on phony images of people dropping dead in the streets of China (the "zombieland narrative"), while the mainstream media is all too happy to sell the narrative to a gullible, ignorant, social media-addicted group-think population with the help of "health experts" (Fauci, Birx, Ferguson) and their flawed models and data. It hits the tri-state Jewish population, in particular the Hareidi/Litvish population hard, mostly because they are slow to react to it and not cancel Purim celebrations, not realizing that while having the same population risk as the flu, it is a more contagious version that is more easily spread. The fear generated off of the initial wave of deaths makes the orthodox modern, conservative and reform population that much more malleable and easily controlled by power grabbing, mostly left-wing politicians.  When the dust settles, we find businesses, lives, marriages, and relationships destroyed, with depression and suicides rates though the roof, all because of a virus that has a 99.96% recovery rate. Israel, Peru and Argentina enforce the strictest lockdown policies on the planet based on China's say so, destroy their economies and post-lockdown the infectivity and death rates soar because lockdowns don't work. So of course, Israel doubles down and does it again. Dumb Jews? Efshar? Ya think?

If you do not believe that Gd sent this virus into the world as a message to the Jews (primarily) and the rest of the world, you may as well stop reading this, because that's exactly what happened. As a good friend of mine is wont to say, Gd is not speaking to us, he is yelling at us through a megaphone. We read the Haftorah on the first day of Sukkot that discussed the war of Israel vs. Gog and Magog with the plague that accompanies it. Subtle as a sledgehammer. Still not convinced? Look at how the virus has affected the Jewish population versus the rest of the planet. Why are there not piles of homeless bodies on the street due to Covid? Why are there not mass hospitalizations and/or deaths from the rioters this summer? Why in countries like Cambodia, with barely acceptable waste treatment and drinkable water and no lockdowns and no masks are there not mass deaths?

As believers who are the children of believers, the Jewish approach to crisis situations has two solutions/paths; the supernatural/metaphysical and the mundane/physical. The metaphysical solution for Covid? Prayer and a wave of Teshuva according to many respected rabbinic figures and it goes away. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like that's in the immediate future so we are left to our own devices in the mundane path and that's where we messed up big time and need to correct a few really dumb things.  After causing havoc in the frumeh communities, the case rates were almost down to zero, but then Elul came and the first of several dumb mistakes happened in the NY/NJ communities.

Dumb Mistake #1: The trigger on the big weddings was pulled too early and because relatives flew in from Israel and didn't bother to quarantine, the first spike of new cases happened. On top of that, opening of the yeshivas/schools led to increased social activity and interaction which also caused a spike. It's important to remember that best estimates put the herd immunity percentage at over 70% or more in these communities during the summer, which means that in all likelihood the new cases are the 20% who either never had it or were not exposed, which means it should peak fairly quickly. Why is that important? Because, that leads to dumb mistake #2.

2. Dumb Mistake #2: Before I highlight #2, I'm going to repeat what HaRav Chaim Kanievsky told the yeshiva bochurim in Israel some weeks ago, although I'm sure he understands it on a completely different and higher level than I could possibly hope to. STOP THE TESTING (yes, he was tested last week but he's 92 years old which automatically puts him in the high risk group).  Why? We now know that the PCR test can pick up not only live virus but dead inactive particles as well. Worse, according to translational biologist Dr. Dolores Cahill, there are other viruses that cross react with the the test, or as she says, did Covid cause all the other viruses to disappear? Go on vacation? So now we have an antigen test that is really only useful if negative (which means some sensitivity) but because of high false-positives, is not nearly specific enough. In addition, the antibody test is also almost worthless because of high cross-reactivity to other viruses as well as the fact that T-cell immunity is the key in this disease with antibodies more of a marker of infection.  Starting to get it? Without symptoms specific to Covid like loss of taste/smell a positive antigen test may mean you have some other garden variety viral infection, which I'm sure a significant number of new cases are.  So dumb mistake #2 is the Jews panicking and running out to get tested with the results of course being reported to the health departments.  Are you getting it yet? Malignant Jew-hating mayors and governors are using the "new cases" as an excuse to shut down schools and then shuls.  My dear Jewish brothers and sisters, STOP GETTING TESTED. If you feel sick and are otherwise healthy, stay home and rest and either take HCQ if you can get it, or drink tonic water which has quinine, a precursor of HCQ if you can't.  Add to that some vitamin C, some zinc, and you should be fine. If you really feel sick and/or have respiratory compromise, then go to the hospital. But unless you are Gd forbid, critically ill, STOP GETTING TESTED because you're only handing ammunition to the politicians that have zero interest in your health and just want you controlled, closed down, fearful and miserable by using "new cases" as an excuse. I can't emphasize this enough. Has NY shut down the mosques and madrasas? Have they harrased Muslims? Those are rhetorical questions. The Nazi mayor of NY himself told CNN that any gatherings would depend on their "political purpose". Stop allowing yourselves to be used as punching bags. Fight back. Not physically, but with our vaunted seichel.  Drag these Nazi SOB's into Federal court and sue them until their eyeballs bleed. The courts can't act unless prompted.

3. Dumb mistake #3: STOP LISTENING TO JEWISH "MEDICAL EXPERTS" WHO REGURGITATE POLICIES OF ANTHONY FAUCI. Fauci is a fraud and a murderer, the new Dr. Mengele. He deliberately suppressed information on HCQ's effectiveness and safety with the help of the media and big pharma, in order to score a big pay day with a barely effective drug in remdesivir and a vaccine from Moderna (in which he controls the patents). His actions caused thousands of deaths. Anyone following Fauci's policies of lockdown or anything else has zero credibility.  The medical establishment has lost not only its credibility but also its trust. I do not mean to sound cruel here, but in any epidemic or pandemic, people unfortunately will die. That's a fact. You can't intervene in the natural history of a pandemic with things like lockdowns that block the build up of immunity in the population, without making things worse. The only way you can intervene is if you have a curative therapy. We do. It's called HCQ. When Jewish "medical experts"can tell you with a straight face that HCQ is ineffective despite major studies to the contrary, it's time to look for new experts. All these dumb mistakes are correctable on the physical plane but remember what the ultimate endgame is here. It's all about the metaphysical. It's about rising up from where we are now. Maybe US Jews get a respite from this post election day but if so, it's only going to be temporary.  Our stay at the hotel USA is winding down. To put it in perspective, I recall a speech that was sent to me by someone that was given by a prominent educator in NYC about Jewish education in the Diaspora. When asked about my reaction, I said how it was a great speech as it touched on all the hot button issues of cost, accessibility, curriculum, etc but ultimately it was a useless speech. Confused, the person asked me how that was possible. I replied that the points were valid but the premise of the speech was useless as it was clearly stated at the onset that these items were necessary to ensure the Jewish future in the Diaspora. 

My dear Jewish brothers and sisters, there is no Jewish future in the Diaspora.
