- In two television interviews on Wednesday, Moshe Feiglin was asked what he thinks of the government stopping the funding for two controversial cultural events – one leftist and the other rightist. “In my opinion”, said Feiglin, “the government should not be involved at all in culture and should not fund any cultural events or institutions whatsoever. The government funding is actually a form of control of our culture and that is unacceptable. Cultural institutions and events should be privately funded. Every person should be able to fund or attend what he chooses. This will ultimately enrich our cultural choices,” Feiglin concluded.
