Israel Needs Long-Term Strategy, Not Just Quiet

By Moshe Feiglin

When we remember who we are and what we want – in other words, when we formulate a strategy, we will quickly find the tactical answers.

22 years ago, at Oslo, we decided that our strategy dictates that we are just another nation and that all we want is a little bit of quiet. The tactics that were chosen precisely fit the strategy: The Two-State Solution and partition of the Land of Israel.

But that was a lie. And lies always blow up in your face.

Because in truth, we are not just another nation. We have a destiny much greater than just a drop of quiet. And when that will be our strategy, the tactic will be One State for One Nation under One G-d. Exactly what we have been praying for during our 2000 years of exile. Only then will we also enjoy a drop of quiet.
