Today is the 13th anniversary of the Israeli disengagement from Gaza, a.k.a. the Gaza expulsion. On August 15, 2005 began the withdrawal of the Israeli army from inside the Gaza Strip, and the dismantling of all Israeli settlements in the Gaza Strip. A total of 8,500 Jewish settlers from all 21 settlements in the Gaza Strip were relocated...
The defense minister at the time was Shaul Mofaz, who responded to criticisms said: “Many say, ‘The security situation is likely to deteriorate,'” he said, and responded: “I have already seen to most of our security deployment in the Gaza Strip. We will be in control of the envelope around the fence, and the level of terror will drop in the Gaza Strip, as pragmatic forces will rise.” (There are no pragmatic people among Jew/Israel-haters!)
...Shimon Peres, who was Opposition Chairman at the time, made it clear that if Benjamin Netanyahu’s proposal for a referendum on the disengagement is brought to a vote, he would vote against it. Peres sharply criticized Netanyahu’s initiative as “tricks.”
In 2009, President Shimon Peres, speaking before the Conference of Presidents, the umbrella organization of American Jewry, said that “mistakes were made in evacuating the settlements. I personally was wrong.” (Crocodile’s tears - Peres sold Israel and the dream of the Jewish people for a moment of fame in front of the White House and the Nobel Prize!)
Peres also said that “whatever happens in the future, we will not repeat the mistakes we made when we left Gaza. From the start we should have done it differently.”
...On October 26, 2004. Likud MKs and ministers did run around trying to collect votes against the plan, but in the end all the heroes sat down in their cushy chairs and voted yes, including Netanyahu. Only one minister, Uzi Landau, voted against, and was fired by Sharon that same night. But not Netanyahu. (And the same mistakes are made deliberately since then, again and again! Just a few days ago another fake ceasefire began to facilitate Hamas’ future attacks.)

Hamas fired Katyusha rockets at Sderot! Some 150+ rockets were fired from Gaza at Israel in one day last week, while a usual sham of cease-fire negotiation was going on. I am sure that IDF intelligence knows locations where rockets are produced and hidden. Why have none of weapon storages been targeted, no members of Hamas leadership eliminated, and there is no plan for removing enemy population from Gaza? This is gross governmental negligence, bordering with treason! No other self-respecting state, having means of successfully defending itself, would tolerate this!
Regional Cooperation Minister Tzachi Hanegbi said Sundaythat the closure of the Erez border crossing to Gaza was intended to be a “yellow card” warning to Hamas, after Palestinians staged violent protests on the Gaza border. (How many stupid 'cards' is needed to face the reality?)
Despite a so-called temporary ceasefire deal between Hamas and Israel, violence returned to the Gaza border and southern Israel once again. some 12,000 Gazans surged to the border at five different locations along the security fence. Two Gazans were killed and 156 others were wounded in the clashes. As before, Gazans burned tires to create thick black smoke to mask their efforts, hurling rocks, live fireworks, flaming Molotov cocktails and in some cases, even grenades at IDF soldiers.
The 2016 report that while the statistics point to a decrease in the number of Israelis remaining abroad for more than a year, the difference between the number of Israelis who left Israel and those who returned stands at 6,300. The report does not take into account new immigrants. According to the figures, the number of Israelis abroad at the end of 2016 was estimated between 560,000 - 596,000 residents, not including children born to Israelis abroad. (This is a direct result of the chronic unwillingness by all Israeli governments to deal decisively with Israel’s enemies!)
Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon called 'delusional' proposals made by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. “Instead of delusional suggestions on how to protect the Palestinian people from Israel, the UN should hold the Palestinian leadership accountable for the harm caused to its own people,” said Danon. Guterres’s proposals included sending UN rights monitors and unarmed observers, and deploying a military or police force under UN mandate.(The 'Ugly Nazi' has never cared for the so-called Palestinians. They were always just a 'tool' the international anti-Semites used against the Jewish state!)

Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) chief, Nadav Argaman, recently warned the political-security cabinet that pushing for the inking of a ceasefire deal with Hamas would diminish Palestinian Authority (PA) chairman Mahmoud Abbas' influence in the Gaza Strip and strengthen Hamas in Judea and Samaria. (Hamas and the PA are the same - just different tactics, at the moment!)
According to the State Comptroller's report, the murder rate in the Arab sector is 2.5 times higher than the general population, and the frequency of shooting offenses is 17.5 times higher than in the Jewish sector. Some 1,236 Israeli Arab men and women were murdered from 2000 to November 2017 (not by Jews!) More than 70 percent of the shooting offenses in the Arab population are carried out by "regular" people. Weapons offenses, especially shooting offenses, are common among the Arab population. The weapons are mainly used for resolving disputes between criminals and families, demonstrating power, and for self-defense purposes, and are more common in the Arab population.
The team working on President Donald Trump’s Middle East peace plan has said neither Israelis nor Palestinians would be happy with the proposal. “No one will be fully pleased with our proposal, but that’s the way it must be if real peace is to be achieved,” the statement said. “Peace can only succeed if it is based on realities.” The message was attributed to Nikki Haley, US ambassador to the United Nations; David Friedman, ambassador to Israel; Jared Kushner, White House senior adviser; and Greenblatt. (The reality is - Fake Palestinians occupy Jewish land and want to destroy the Jewish state, and international anti-Semites do not let Israel take action to remove them!)
Hezbollah-affiliated Al Mayadeen news channel says that current negotiations for anticipated ceasefire aimed at ending months of hostilities on the Gaza border will also include creation of a maritime route between the coastal enclave and Cyprus under Israeli supervision. (What has Israel gotten out of it? Nothing - Not even return of fallen Jewish solders!)
According to a report, Netanyahu ordered a freeze on the construction of 500 housing units in the Ramat Shlomo neighborhood, 220 housing units in the south of Gilo, 200 housing units in Gilo, 200 housing units in Ramot Alon, and 150 housing units in the Ramot neighborhood. The Prime Minister's Office said that "the Prime Minister's Office is not delaying construction in Jerusalem." (With weak political leadership, how can Israel expect respect from our enemies?)
After their failed efforts last year to get Israel booted from FIFA, Palestinian leaders are planning to argue that Israel is in violation of several UN Security Council resolutions and the UN charter. Ramallah will further argue, the report stated, that Israel’s recently passed nation-state law, which declares national rights to be exclusive to Jews, proved Israel is an apartheid state and must therefore be sanctioned. (How many Jews live in Gaza or Ramallah? Who conducts a campaign of terror? Unfortunately, anti-Semites in ‘Useless Nazi’ will not kick fake Palestinians out!)

While the Israeli Defense Force was storming into Gaza in 2014, the streets of Europe were overrun with demonstrators. There were virtual riots outside of the Israeli embassy in London, tens of thousands of people marched there in support of... With every march came cries that the IDF were perpetrating a massacre in Gaza...
There was no massacre of Palestinians at the hands of the IDF last summer. But in Syria there is - right now! But you would be forgiven for being unaware of it. For this time there aren’t tens of thousands demonstrating on the streets. There are no demonstrations at all. There are no rallies. There are no screams of massacre. There are no demands on governments to take action.
There is simply a sad, deafening silence!
It’s not as if people don’t know what’s happening in the largest Palestinian refugee camp in Syria, Yarmouk. The story took pride of place on Sky News, it has been published by every major newspaper around the world. Yet there is no action. The heat, the friction, the activism of the summer is nowhere to be found.
In the United Kingdom (and around the world) there is no shortage of organizations dedicated to the Palestinian cause. The Palestine Solidarity Campaign was the main organizer of the demonstrations and of a boycott campaign against Israel and yet the cause of Palestinian suffering in Syria is noticeable only for its absence from their website. There are no events planned, there are no calls for aid, there are no plans to lobby Members of Parliament to take action.
There is silence ...when a real massacre of Palestinians happening there is silence from the very organization which exists to campaign on behalf of Palestinians.
This is a bizarre state of affairs indeed. But then perhaps they are only following the example set by Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestine Authority President. His words concerning Palestinians in Syria from 2013 are proving to be truly prophetic today: "It’s better they die in Syria than give up their right of return”
Perhaps the silence regarding Palestinians in Syria and elsewhere in the Middle East comes from a belief that it is only worth demonstrating when a Palestinian is killed by an Israeli. Even if that means throwing around words like massacre, when there isn’t one, and ignoring a real one while it happens...
