The European signatories of the original 2015 nuclear accord (JCPOA) hailed dropping those demands as the key to unlocking the diplomatic impasse reached in the Vienna track. German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Emmanuel Macron and the UK's PM Boris Johnson stated: We welcome President Biden's clearly demonstrated commitment to return the US to full compliance with the JCPOA and to stay in full compliance, so long as Iran does the same. (This full compliance has only facilitated continuation of development of a nuclear weapon program by Iran. Why would Iran need 60% enriched uranium, if not to destroy Israel with an A-bomb? Also, Iran has cheated on the JCPOA since day one.)
No wonder Tehran was suddenly accommodating and agreed to resuming negotiations next month. (They only say the talks are about removing sanctions, not stopping their nuclear program playing delay game.)
Seen from Israel, the Biden administration has backtracked from its earlier acceptance of the need to restrain Iran's regional belligerence and ballistic missiles, along with the drive for a nuclear weapon capability.
Seen from Israel, the Biden administration has backtracked from its earlier acceptance of the need to restrain Iran's regional belligerence and ballistic missiles, along with the drive for a nuclear weapon capability.
By reverting to the Obama position, Biden also is ready to give Iran free rein on its ballistic missile program and regional warmongering by using terrorist organizations like the Lebanese Hezbollah, the Iraqi Shiite militias and Yemen's Houthi rebels.
These omissions from Washington's Iran agenda concern Israel no less than the nuclear issue.
Tehran, for its part, did not miss seizing the moment as a chance to push all the way back to the starting point. Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said succinctly: There is no need for the negotiation and the simplest solution is for Biden to issue an executive order saying he was returning to the nuclear deal and lifting sanctions. In other words, eliminating Donald Trump s maximum pressure policy and reverting to Barack Obama's conciliatory mode.
However, in assuming that Biden had totally abandoned all military options, Tehran may have jumped the gun especially when it comes to American lives or interests. (Israel, as always, has no reliable partners, when it comes to security of the Jewish state. Israel must ignore condemnations of international Anti-Semites and deal with Iran on its own)
Food for Thought
by Steven Shamrak
Some political analysts are concerned of a threat to Israel from Russia and China, in spite of the fact that they do not contemplate reopening their consulates to serve fake Palestinians in Jerusalem, but the US does, and they have reasonably good political and trade relationship with Israel. Israel must forge good relationship with both countries, because Biden administration is not the best or reliable friend of Israel at the moment.

There s No Room in Jerusalem for a US Consulate
Biden has promised the PA that he will reopen the consulate-general in East Jerusalem. Israel has told the Biden administration that it is opposed to any plan to reopen the US consulate-general that services the Palestinians in Jerusalem because the city is the undivided capital of the Jewish state. My position, which has been presented to the Americans by myself and by Foreign Minister Lapid, is that there is no place for an American consulate that serves the Palestinians in Jerusalem, Bennett said. We have expressed our position (to the US) determinedly, quietly, without drama, and I hope it will be understood. Jerusalem is the capital of Israel alone. (Enemies of Israel/Jews do not understand quiet diplomacy where Jews are concerned. They always denigrate Israel very loudly. It is time for Israel to start pushing-back)
The PA Gears up for International Smear Fight Again
After a few months of quiet, the PA is preparing to renew their international campaign against Israel. Now that the Palestinians have joined the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, it makes a familiar claim fake Palestinians are alleging that Israel is an occupying entity in land belonging to the Palestinian Authority and is acting in violation of international law. (International anti-Semites love to help enemies of Jews to discredit Israel.)
Israel Passed the First Budget in 3.5 years
The Knesset passed the 2021 state budget into law in a 61-59 vote at 5:30 a.m. Thursday morning, giving Israel a new budget for the first time since March 15, 2018. Passage of the 2022 budget provided the coalition with longer-term stability. Failure to pass the 2022 budget by March would have triggered new elections. The governing coalition of eight disparate parties maintained its discipline, while opposition parties did not.
Arab League Urges Britain to Apologize
The Arab League has urged Britain to apologize for the so-called Palestinians suffering over more than a century due to the Balfour Declaration and demanded that Britain recognize Palestine as an independent state on the pre-1976 borders with eastern Jerusalem as its capital. The PA cabinet in Ramallah has demanded not just a British apology for the document, but also compensation. (It looks like Arabs are still not ready to end the stupidity of 'the Palestinian' political game.)
Republicans are Against Reopening US Consulate in Jerusalem
Two hundred House Republicans signed a letter Monday urging US President Joe Biden not to go forward with plans to reopen the American consulate in Jerusalem, which historically served as the de facto representative office to the Palestinians. The Republicans argue in the letter that Israel opposes the move (as any self-respectful independent state would) and that it would constitute a reward to the Palestinian Authority, which is the real obstacle to peace.
Arab MK Decries Cursed Balfour Declaration
Joint List MK Osama Saadi decried the cursed Balfour Declaration Today, November 2, 104 years ago, was the cursed Balfour Declaration, which announced the establishment of a Jewish home in Palestine. Saadi said that we recognize the Holocaust, the greatest tragedy in the world, but the Jewish people has its own home and the Palestinian people do not. (This is the voice of the enemy within. He conveniently forgot that Balfour Declaration and creation of Israel as the Jewish state has nothing to do with the Holocaust. Jordan, which was illegally created on 77% of the Jewish land, was supposed to be a state for Arabs who moved and lived in the Palestinian mandate. So-called Palestinians are a fake nation created in 1964 with the help from the KGB.)
Quote of the Week:
"Israel now is contemplating how to deal with Iran without us, that is an unbelievable scenario, and they are not wrong to do that. If I was advising Israel I would say do not count on the Biden administration to help you with Iran, because they are not going to be there." said Nikki Haley, former US Ambassador to the UN.
Netanyahu Destroyed the Zionist Bloc
Justice Minister and New Hope chairman Gideon Sa'ar still believes that removing Benjamin Netanyahu from power was in the best interests of Israel's national security, claiming: "Netanyahu's ideology is only Netanyahu."
"If the current government is so terrible, why does he not move aside and allow the establishment of another one headed by another Likud member? Netanyahu's emissaries offered me to be the first in the rotation, I rejected it because I did not seek to be prime minister with six seats."
"Throughout the negotiations I was clear: either a national government headed by another MK from the Likud, or a national unity government.
Sa'ar also refers to criticism of the coalition partnership with Mansour Abbas and the Ra'am party, and mentions: "Netanyahu has invested all his political capital in making Mansour Abbas kosher. He did not hesitate and even activated rabbis, from Rabbi Tau to Rabbi Kanievsky who issued halakhic rulings that qualify him on one condition that Netanyahu be at the head. The person who led the rehabilitation of Ra'am in Israeli politics is only one person, Benjamin Netanyahu. He is the one who smashed the bloc and dismantled the partnership in the right-wing camp."
Political Awakening of Likud Members
A senior Likud official stated in an interview "Once the budget is passed we will be stuck for years in the opposition. As long as Bibi remains we can not return to power even with 40 seats. He has too many enemies blocking him." He said that the party will remain in the opposition for several years if the state budget is approved, and pointed an accusing finger at opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu. (As soon as Likud members will realize that the party and Israel are not dependent on a one person ego-trip and restore the traditional Zionist values of the Likud, the party will be able to lead Israel again to a brighter future)
Likud Primaries are Overdue
Netanyahu and Edelstein reportedly met for more than an hour and discussed desire to move up the primaries to the beginning of next year. Edelstein recently openly announced during a television interview that he would run against Netanyahu for the leadership of the Likud and even criticized him saying, "We will never return to power with him - we failed four times, how will we suddenly succeed a fifth time?" if Netanyahu runs in the upcoming primaries and wins, this could lead to a split in the Likud due to the fact that senior members of the party who see themselves as candidates to succeed Netanyahu will not agree to see him remain as party chairman for at least another eight years. (Why does it take so long to set a date? Why would so many Likud members still vote for him?)
