Meretz's Plan to Divide Jerusalem

by Shmuel Sackett

This article appeared in The Jewish Press

I received an interesting email from a very good friend of mine.

This past Sunday (Dec 10th), he and his wife went to eat at the restaurant “Agas Ve’Tapuach” in Kikar Safra, Jerusalem.

They sat down and noticed that sitting at the next table was Meretz MK Michal Rozin.

My friend said Rozin was meeting with a foreign journalist and was convincing him to write a fake news story about Jerusalem.

She was very clear that her goal was to further her personal political agenda and divide the city.

My friend couldn’t believe what he was hearing, so he grabbed a pad of paper and started writing down everything he heard.

Here is what he said he heard MK Michal Rozin of Meretz saying:

Her real objective is to divide Jerusalem, although she told him not to write that.

She revealed that the instructions she was giving were official and authorized by Meretz.

She told him that his article should focus on several angles:

a) The concept of a “Greater Jerusalem” hurts the Palestinians,

b) Israelis will have to pay welfare for 300,000 poor Palestinians,

c) Because of Jerusalem settlers in Silwan, Israelis will have to start paying higher taxes,

d) The only way to reverse the situation of Jewish settlers in Silwan will be through violence.

As unbelievable as it is, the above words were spoken by a member of the Israeli Knesset and are the official policy of the Meretz party.

And you thought you had heard everything???
