The last time the Israeli flag flew on the Temple Mount was for a very brief time after the IDF conquered the site in the 1967 Six Day War, but on Wednesday, a group of Chinese Christian tourists posed with a flag on the steps leading up to the Dome of the Rock.
It’s rare, because the Temple Mount is supervised by the Islamic Waqf guards, under orders from the Islamic government in Jordan, which strictly forbids any Jewish faith presence there.
Not even praying is allowed!
In fact, while Muslims are allowed free run on the site, Jews and Christians are allowed to enter only as tourists.
It’s the hill where it is believed the first and second Jewish Temples were located... (It took a visit of brave Chinese tourist to break the stupidity of denigrating to Jews status quo! If they were Jews, they would be in jail now!)
Food for Thought. by Steven Shamrak
I recently tried to have an intelligent conversation with 3 Western university students, who were participating in pro-Gaza and anti-Israel demonstration. None of them knew much about the cause they are supporting, as well as understanding of the history of the conflict. They used cliché slogans, like “they are human beings”, with complete disregard that Jews, who are subjected to terror attacks daily, are also humans! When I made attempts to present them with some facts about the origin of so-called Palestinians and their leadership they walk away! Conclusion: They do not care about ‘Palestinians’! The only obvious explanation for the underlying and common factor of anti-Israel ‘activism’ among the westerners – it is hate for Jews!
Israeli security officials pushed back on claims IDF forces killed an Arab journalist during riots on the Israel-Gaza border recently, saying the slain photographer was in fact a veteran member of the Hamas terror organization, Yasser Murtaja, 30. His mission was to use the riot to approach the border and spy on IDF forces, by sending a small drone carrying a camera spinning overhead. (Arabs lie habitually - it is called Taqiyya - and international anti-Semites have been happily, knowingly, supporting these lies!)
PM will bring to discussion in party leaders' forum tomorrowwide-reaching court overrule bill; Bennett welcomes: 'Expecting rapid advance.' The Supreme Court ordered five days for the state to complete contacts with the third-party country, Uganda, to absorb infiltrators deported from Israel. The judges ruled that if the agreement with Uganda is not approved within five days by the Attorney General, the State would have to release all infiltrators intended for deportation from the Saharonim facility. (It is long overdue! Israeli judiciary, infested by leftist self-haters, systematically undermines future of the Jewish state!)
The Iranian-backed Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist organization lost four of its operatives in a “work accident” along the Gaza border with Israel. The group said the four were killed during “preparations” in an accidental explosion - operatives were killed while riding with explosives in an ATV, all terrain vehicle.
A senior Ugandan minister acknowledged for the first time that his country was “positively considering” a request by Israel to accept (500) African asylum seekers. (They play this 'uncommittal' game to extract from Israel as much as possible – just for 500 infiltrators! This is a usual practice others use with Jews – extort a lot for nothing!)
Target of Syria base strike was likely Iranian drone base. The T-4 complex in the eastern Homs province, 60km east of Palmyra, has recently been used by Iranian-backed militias fighting in Syria. Iranian drone shot down two months ago by Israel came out of the T-4 airbase, while one of Iranian 'military advisers' killed in the attack was reportedly a member of a division that operates drones.
Former U.S. President Bill Clinton comes clean on his unsuccessful efforts to help Shimon Peres defeat Benjamin Netanyahu during Israel’s 1996 general election. Clinton has been similarly accused of more successfully aiding Ehud Barak defeat Netanyahu during the 1999 election. Former President Barack Obama similarly tried to have Netanyahu defeated in the most recent 2015 elections. (It isn’t a revelation! So, what is the noise about Russia?)
The head of Israel's Mossad intelligence agency is "100 percent certain" that Iran remains committed to developing a nuclear bomb. Yossi Cohen, who leads the shadowy spy agency, called the nuclear deal a "terrible mistake," saying it allows Iran to keep key elements of its nuclear program intact and will remove other restraints in a few years. "As head of the Mossad, I am 100 percent certain that Iran has never abandoned its military nuclear vision for a single instant. This deal enables Iran to achieve that vision."

A decade has passed since Israel adopted the perception, based on security or diplomatic reasons, that it favours the Hamas rule in Gaza over any other alternative.
The forefather of this doctrine was Ehud Barak, who served as defense minister in the Olmert and Netanyahu governments from 2007 to 2013. During Operation Cast Lead, when we were a bowshot away from bringing the Hamas rule down, Barak firmly objected and forced his opinion on the cabinet and on Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, who was nearing the end of his term.
(After) Netanyahu was elected Prime Minister in 2009,.. he broke his promise, accepted the Hamas rule in Gaza and favoured a policy of coexistence with the terror organization over a military move that would bring his own rule to an end. The result was Qassam “drizzles” on the south’s residents and rounds of war every two or three years...
Some people are deluding themselves that the strip could be demilitarized and that its economy could be restored in cooperation with Hamas. These are pipe dreams. Hamas won’t disarm out of its own free will...
The story of the terror tunnels is a good example. Israel supplied Gaza with hundreds of thousands of tons of building materials for the strip’s reconstruction. A large part of these materials was used by Hamas to build terror tunnels. The defense establishment was forced to spend billions of shekels on the development of abilities for the destruction of tunnels that were built with the construction materials that Israel gave Gaza. Complete madness....
Let’s hope that the Hamas-organized “March of Return” protests, which are a continuation of terrorism under the guise of “civilian activity,” will finally make Netanyahu recalculate his route. And maybe, he will finally let go of his perception that there is no alternative... (I suggest "the Sinai Option", see below, as the alternative! Only by removing terror-supporting and Jew-hating population from Gaza and annexing it Israel will be able to close this front, one of many!)
