by Moshe Feiglin
In a speech to the leadership of the Scouts movement, I explained a simple principle. The more “rights” that we demand of the state, the more that we are depositing in its hands, and essentially giving up, our liberties. When I was asked about equality as opposed to liberty, I answered that equality can only be found in the line for bread in the Soviet Union. Zehut strives for prosperity and quality of life – not equality.
