Olive trees in memory of 16 yr old Sammy Farkas z"l

Dear Friends,

As you probably heard, a tragic accident happened last week in Miami Beach, with the death of Sammy Farkas z"l, a beautiful 16 year old boy who was loved by one and all.

Sammy's father, Michael, is one of our closest friends and supporters.

Michael has a great love for the Land of Israel and for many years has assisted in planting thousands of olive trees in Israel.

In addition to being one of the "seven special fruits of the Land of Israel", olives produce a bright, clear oil which has the ability to light up the world!

The Menorah in the Bet Ha'Mikdash used olive oil and millions of Jews around the globe recently used olive oil to light their Chanukah Menorahs.

This is what Sammy Farkas was all about.

Hundreds of stories have come out about how this young boy literally lit up the world of so many people.

His constant smile and warmth to all kinds of people will never be forgotten.

In his memory, we will be planting "The Sammy Farkas Olive Grove" in the Jordan Valley, a part of Israel that was liberated in the miraculous Six Day War.

We will be planting this olive grove starting on Tu B'Shvat – THIS COMING MONDAY!!!

Please join us in planting trees in memory of Sammy and in honor of the entire Farkas family.

Thank you and may we hear only good news, from now on.
