After Sharon, Israel Needs Faith-Based Leadership
By Moshe Feiglin
Ariel Sharon symbolizes the tragedy of the classic Right. He was a fighter, a settler of the Land, a leader: What more could anyone expect? But it is Sharon who became the great destroyer. After Sharon, the Right can expect nothing more. It will not find an ideologue greater than Begin, someone more tenacious than Shamir, a greater leader than Sharon or a diplomat more talented than Netanyhau. The problem is not the leaders – it is with the path that they tread. Without the Jewish horizon, the path simply ends.
