The Shamrak Report: Why Bother with Useless Plans and more....

The US administration will not call for the evacuation of Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria under the much-anticipated Mideast peace plan. US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman said, “having seen the experience of the evacuation of Gaza, I don’t believe that there is a realistic plan that can be implemented that would require anyone - Jew or Arab - to be forced to leave their home.”
“I don’t believe that there is a realistic plan that can be implemented that would require anyone — Jew or Arab — to be forced to leave their home,” Friedman said.
There are an estimated 350,000 Israelis living in West Bank settlements, plus hundreds of thousands more in East Jerusalem neighborhoods that Palestinians claim for their future state. (One, although cynical, reason to have the third election in Israel!)
Friedman said that Washington is “desperately” waiting for a new Israeli government to be formed. The US will release its so-called Deal of the Century soon thereafter and expects a prompt response from the next Israeli government, he said.(Only removal of hostile, terror-supporting, enemy population from Jewish land will deliver peace to Eretz-IsraelIt is well known the “Palestinans” will reject any plan that leaves Israel as the Jewish state.)

The Turkish government persistently denies that the Ottoman Empire committed genocide in 1915, insisting that “only” 300,000 Armenians were killed. Like there is a difference! A similar ‘argument’ has been used by some Holocaust deniers. Moral failure of the international community to condemn genocide of Armenians by Turks led to the slaughter of 6 million Jews in Europe by Nazis. and eagerly participating anti-Semite of Europe! The same lack of morality is behind the anti-Israel propaganda, which is supporting Arabs’ intention to commit a second Holocaust for 72 years.
The Mossad and the IDF Intelligence branch prevented 50 terror attacks by ISIS and Iran in the past three years. Twelve of the attacks were prevented in Turkey itself, which succeeded in foiling them thanks to Israeli-provided information to Turkish security services. Relations between Israel and Turkey have been tense since 2010, when the Turkish ship Mavi Marmara attempted to break the blockade on Gaza and were intercepted by IDF forces in a violent incident. (Turkey has never been a true friend of Israel. As other Muslim states, like Egypt and Jordan, it has been always a ploy to receive favourable treatment and aid from the US!)
Following ceasefire deal in northern Syria, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo meets with Binyamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem. The Secretary of State added that he and Netanyahu discussed efforts to "push back against the threat" posed by Iran to not only Israel "but to the region and the world". “We had a chance to talk this morning about all the challenges that the world faces, and that Israel and the United States face head-on together as an important beacon of hope here in the Middle East.”
The Iranian President's Chief of Staff, Mahmoud Vaezi, warned Europeans about their "inaction" concerning its obligations under the nuclear deal, and threaten that Iran will reduce more of its nuclear commitments. Britain, France and Germany have been trying to save the nuclear deal and have vowed to help Iran evade the economic sanctions imposed by the US, shielding companies doing business with the rogue state in an effort to preserve the Iran nuclear deal.
Venezuela and Libya were elected to serve on the UN Human Rights Council despite their questionable human rights records.
Israeli Ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, said in response, "The Human Rights Council continues to abandon human rights and is now in the business of protecting dictators and war crimes. In Venezuela, a dictator starves his people, and in Libya there are camps that torture African migrants."('Ugly Nazi' is not even trying to hide its anti-Semitic 'values'!Israel is almost never invited to participate in the UN committees)
IDF secures entry about 1,350 Jewish visitors into the Joseph's Tomb in Shechem last Wednesday. During the entry, an improvised explosive device was found and neutralized.
The Yad L’Achim anti-missionary organization this week called on the religious parties in Israel to “everything possible to get a law passed banning missionary activity.” “The financial difficulties in which many families find themselves have created opportunity for the missionaries,” the letter said. “At the same time, ignorance of Judaism leads many young people to attend missionary conferences, which lead to baptism.”
The Egyptian Army is to become the first in the world to operate hundreds of upgraded T-90 tanks. Cairo intends to produce under a Russian license at its local factories following agreements signed with Moscow.
Tunisia’s new president, Kais Saied, who scored a landslide election victory, regards any ties with Israel as "high treason". The new president is a hardline opponent of any form of ties with Israel and recently called moves toward relations with the Jewish state “high treason.”
The Kurds have been collaborating with the Syrian regime for several years now... In terms of the eternal Sunni-Shiite conflict which has been splitting the Islamic world for 1,300 years, give or take a decade, It is suggested that this Turkish (Sunni) invasion, with thousands - soon to be tens of thousands - of well trained and well armed Sunni militias, is rattling President Bashar al-Assad’s army, as well as, most important, the Iranian satellite Shiite militias (soon to include Hezbollah) which have received orders to abandon the southern front with Israel and move up north and build defences against the invasion. In other words, Trump’s move, leading to Erdoğan’s move, has revived the Syrian civil war and the vortex that pulls in Arab violence from across the region. And that, as far as Israel is concerned, is a very good thing. It is possible that president Trump is actually restoring the religious balance in the region and weakening Iran’s hold on the areas alongside Israel’s border.
Quote of the Week:
“Anti-Semites make Jews the news - Sadly yes! The world has an agenda bearing in mind Jews are 15 million people out of a global population of 7.5 billion (barely 0.1% of the world population). Yet the Jews are in the news every day. Why is this? How can this be? What is the beauty and magic of the Jewish people that makes this so and leads to such powerful emotions in so many sides? This is really interesting to consider.... Why is there and has there always been so much hatred when Jewish people being so much good to the world?” – FaceBook discussion points.

Despite the withdrawal of US troops from Syria, Israel retains operational freedom to defend itself and America remains committed to closely watching the Iraqi-Syrian border to help prevent the transfer of Iranian arms into the country, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said in an interview.
“Our administration’s been very clear,” he said. “Israel has the fundamental right to engage in activity that ensures the security of its people. It’s at the very core of what nation states not only have the right to do but an obligation to do.”
“I think the Israeli people should stare at the probably starkest change this administration has made in foreign policy vis-a-vis what the previous administration has done – the toughest sanctions we’ve ever put. Sanctions will be sufficient to decrease the scope and size of the Iranian economy by over 12% this next year. That’s serious stuff,” he said. “We do this because this denies resources from Iran to do assassination campaigns in Europe, missile systems and infrastructure technology advancement, underwriting Hezbollah, Shia militias around the word. We have materially reduced their capacity to engage in those behaviours.”
Pompeo said that he takes Iranian threats seriously and that there is a chance that the Islamic regime will try to attack Israel in a similar way to the recent attack against the Saudis.
“I always take the Iranians at their word,” he said. “They have said that they would like to wipe Israel off the face of the earth and I think it is reasonable to think that the Iranians would contemplate an attack on Israel…We should not suggest that this is mere bluster or threat but they are engaged in activity that creates risk certainly for Israel but we have seen what they did in Saudi Arabia and we’ve seen what they are doing today in Yemen and we watch the activities they are engaged in Syria and the Shia militias in Iraq. This is a serious threat."
