The Shamrak Report: Fake Unity - Sovereignty not Included

Political officials made it clear Sunday that, at the moment, as part of the negotiations between 'Blue and White' and 'Likud', sovereignty will not be included among the government's basic principles.
Samaria Regional Council head Yossi Dagan responded sharply to the report: "We will not accept a government without sovereignty; we will not miss this historic opportunity to apply sovereignty to the heart of Israel. A terrorist state cannot be established in the heart of Israel."
"Everyone understands that it endangers the existence of the state, there are debates here and there, politics inside and outside the national camp, but there is a clear majority within the People of Israel and the State of Israel against a terrorist state, and for sovereignty - both on the Right, that is completely united in this, and much of the Center-Left," he argued.
NOTE: Negotiators from the Likud and Blue and White have achieved a major breakthrough in coalition talks and are close to securing a deal paving the way for the formation of a national unity government. While the two sides had already agreed on a rotational power-sharing agreement which will see Gantz serve as prime minister after one-and-a-half years, until now the two parties had been unable to agree on the mechanism for ensuring that Netanyahu will retain the position of Acting Prime Minister after Gantz is sworn in as premier.

Not long ago, Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, made annexation of Judea and Samaria as the major pre-election promise. As usually, he did not mean it! The 'major issue for Bibi in negotiations the unity government is he going to hold glorified position of Acting PM in Gantz s led government - not the future of Israel and the Jewish people!
President Rivlin informed Blue and White Chairman Benny Gantz that he is entrusting the Knesset with the task of forming a government. At this point, the task of forming a government to a particular Knesset Member, who so agreed in writing, all within 21 days of the president s announcement. ( Likud needs 2 or 3 brave politicians on the Left to form government in order to avoid the 4th election!)
The Hamas-run Health Ministry in the Gaza Strip has admitted that dozens of doctors from the Strip have been trained in recent weeks by Israeli doctors to deal with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic.
Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, is leading a bipartisan effort to wean the United States from its reliance on China for drugs and medical supplies by turning to the US ally Israel. Cruz wrote on Twitter. "Our dependence on China for life-saving medications and treatments is deeply problematic. The senator argued that Israel "is not only our friend and ally, but also a global leader in medicine with which we already cooperate on exactly those issues."
After a 6-hour government meeting, it was decided to slowly start reopening businesses which have been shut since emergency measures due to the spread of the virus were declared nearly a month ago. According to the proposal, trade, services and manufacturing will operate at 100 percent capacity as soon as this week if they are able to adhere to health directives.
The World Health Organization's decision-making body has a history of singling out Israel for criticism, fueling concerns of bias as the United Nations organization faces criticism of its response to the coronavirus pandemic. The World Health Assembly, WHO's policymaking body, has only one item on its agenda - targeting Israel. Of all the reports produced each year for the World Health Assembly on the health of humankind, only one report targets a specific state - again Israel. (All organisations connected to the 'Ugly Nazi' love to hate IsraelYet Israel is on the forefront of finding medications and cures for COVID-19.)
Quote of the Week:
Those (Israeli) officials who created the concept of dividing the Land of Israel - inventing the Palestinians to take it off our hands and make peace with us - are incapable of implementing the changes needed to solve the problem now."  - Moshe Feiglin He is rightThe only things they are interested in is to maintain the ugly status quo and self-glorification!

Zionists stole Palestinian land: that's the mantra both the Palestinian Authority and Hamas teach their children and propagate in their media& The accusation of theft also undermines Israel's position internationally. But is this accusation true?
No, it is not. Ironically, the building of Israel represents about the most peaceable in-migration and state creation in history& Zionist efforts to build a presence in the Holy Land until 1948 stand out as astonishingly mild, as mercantile rather than military. Two great empires, the Ottomans and the British, ruled Eretz Yisrael ; in contrast, Zionists lacked military power. They could not possibly achieve statehood through conquest.
Instead, they purchased land. Acquiring property dunam by dunam , farm by farm, house by house, lay at the heart of the Zionist enterprise until 1948 (including most of the land in Judea and Samaria, as well as some Jewish land which is still occupied by Syria and Jordan). The Jewish National Fund, founded in 1901 to buy land in Palestine "to assist in the foundation of a new community of free Jews engaged in active and peaceable industry," was the key institution and not the Haganah , the clandestine defense organization founded in 1920.
Only when the British mandatory power gave up on Palestine in 1948, followed immediately by an all-out attempt by Arab states to crush and expel the Zionists, did the latter take up the sword in self-defense and go on to win land through military conquest. Even then, as the historian Efraim  Karsh demonstrates in Palestine Betrayed, most Arabs fled their lands; exceedingly few were forced off.
This history contradicts the Palestinian account that "Zionist gangs stole Palestine and expelled its people" which led to a catastrophe "unprecedented in history" (according to a PA 12th-grade textbook) or that Zionists "plundered the Palestinian land and national interests, and established their state upon the ruins of the Palestinian Arab people" (writes a columnist in the PA's daily). International organizations, newspaper editorials, and faculty petitions reiterate this falsehood worldwide. (All those inflammatory accusations are made in violation of the Oslo accord. Fake Palestinians have never respected any agreements, especially with Israel!)
Israelis should hold their heads high and point out that the building of their country was based on the least violent and most civilized movement of any people in history. ( Most of the so-called Palestinians, who claim that they owned the land, migrated to Eretz-Israel from various part of the Ottoman empire, the Land of Israel, and worked for or rented it from Arab, Turkish or Egyptian landlords who sold it to Jews with a hefty profit or found employment at industries brought to the land by Zionists!)
